the longest ‘yum cha’ session in my life!

16th/ 17th SEPT 2006

it was felix’s last night in malaysia before he return to UK so he called me at the very last min somewhere after 10pm to go for a drink.never thought that we’ll ended up going to 4 different places for our ‘yum cha’ session…

1st stop : ‘pat kin pat sun’

we were there for almost an hour with fang, stacy, vishul n lean chiew.this was the 1st time i saw stacy after F5.nearly couldn’t recognize her after 3 years as she looked pretty now.had a short chat with all them mainly talking bout life after SAB and most importantly how we missed high school life.

2nd stop : ice cream house
now…the gang had decreased from 6 to 3 as the rest of them need to go home.it was getting late but me, fang n felix don’t really feel like going home.after all, it was a sat night.so we decided to check into another place while dragging choon hoong out of the house on the way.he repeatedly suggested that we go tsim tung although we already told him NO.dunno what wrong with mr. lee, he seemed to adore the place so much.finally end up in ice cream house, having ice cream at 12am!

3rd stop : taman saga

after an hour or so, we headed to taman saga, a place which is highly recommended by fang and felix.according to them, it’s the next best place besides genting to enjoy KL night scenery.this time, choon hoong didn’t tag along as he need to attend church the next morning.so the 3 of us, me being the only girl drove all the way up to taman saga.the ‘great’ thing when we reached there is when we found out that there was no toilet around.in the moment of desperation, we drove down the hill to look for a place to pee and thank goodness petronas is open 24 hours.after that, we went back to taman saga again to continue our ‘yum cha’ session.fang suggested that we hang around till 6 am to see the sunrise.crazy of him because by that time, i would be sleeping soundly…

4th stop : saujana restaurant

ended up not watching sunrise because the mamak stall is closing as it was nearly 4am.but the 3 of us are still wide awake so we decided to go to steven’s corner for another round.steven’s corner was packed when we get there..couldn’t believe my eyes..i guess young people like us don’t really sleep during the weekend.at last, we went to somewhere quiet to have ‘teh tarik’.was there for an hour and i really need to go home.my dad would probably be awake by now and wonder where the hell i am…

reached home around 5am.i was practically tiptoed while getting into the house in order to avoid being heard.if my dad ever found out, i would be grounded till i hit the age of 21st but then i doubt he would ever do so, will probably control my life till the day he die…sigh! straightaway jump into my bed as i was really tired.could only sleep for 5 hours.need to wake up early for class.

although it was pretty tiring, staying awake all night.i actually enjoy the time with them.what a great night/morning we had! it’ll be the 1st and the last time i would ever had the chance to do so…
