1st stop : Sg Buloh Prison
My first thought of the prison is that it would looked very dirty and creepy like the one which all of us are accustomed to, Pudu Jail. But boy, I was wrong when we reached the front entrance. Contray to what I thought, the place looked new, clean and modern .I was later told that the place cost RM400+ million to build.
Instead of the touring around the prison, we ended up attending some ‘taklimat’ which reminded me of class. Bored as usual. Imagine my disappointment when they told us visitors are not allowed onto the prison ground for security reasons. WTF! I was so looking forward to visiting the cell and hanging chamber.
It’s just unbelievable, coming all the way from KL just to look at the building and hear some useless ‘taklimat’. Since we are so eager in visiting the prison ground, the prison official allowed us a few step onto the prison ground.
The door leading to the prison ground was HUGE (god knows how high) and it transmit a creepy sound when it opens.
Thud…Thud…Thud
Group Photos. To certified that we’ve been there…
One thing I find fascinating was the ‘papan tanda’ highligthing the forbidden things.
Look closer. They actually forbid the visitors from bringing in condoms! Wonder what harm that little rubber thingy could have possess.
2nd stop : Maktab Polis Diraja Malaysia.
Nothing much to see here. We were given the normal ‘taklimat’ and was showed around.
