EVERY kids spent most of their childhood playing, meddling and owning a teddy bears or dolls. They hold on dearly to their ‘prized possession’ whenever they go, even to the point of cuddling it to sleep. (finest example : my brother, his almost torn rabbit stayed with him all the time)
Strangely, I neither experience nor owning any of it. Well, I do have 2 barbie dolls but sadly I can’t said I owned it in the context of ‘own’. It was left untouched in my cupboard most of the time, collecting dust. This is because I hated the idea of playing with dolls. What’s the fun of dressing and undressing the dolls? Eventually, it’ll looked all the same after a few times of clothes-changing process.
Geez…waste of time and money!
Ironically, as I get older, I began to adore cute cute stuff. Not to say I like all the teddy bears or dolls in the market. I’m still quite picky in categorize what’s cute and what’s not. So far, the only soft toy I approved of are the Beanie Bears (I’m jealous of my lil’ niece who’s only 1 1/2 years old but she owned a HUGE collection of the bears) and a kind of Japanese dolls which I’ve no idea what it was called.
I shall add another to my list : Dooodolls.
Fall in love with all 12 of them when it was first featured in the STAR newspapers. Each of them are soooo adorable. I desperately wanted to cuddle them to sleep
Although all of them are cute, I still have my favourite.
Tah….Tah
I present to you NINJA
