*happy mood*
After searching high and low, it’s finally in my hands. Been waiting to watch it for a second time. The first time was a few years back with my brother in one of those rare occasion We never intended to catch it in the cinema though. But who could have resist after seeing the poster. A movie depicting the real life of transsexuals and homosexuals living in Thailand, a country famous for it.
It was a very meaningful movie as it changed my whole perspective on gays. I was completely unaware of the hardship they had to undergo in order to be accepted by the society. Whenever we talked about discrimination, it didn’t cross our mind that there are still a group of people out there who longed for recognizance and equal treatment.
Like what the character said, “a simple act of acceptance is all we ever need from you people, nothing more”.
I seriously recommend this movie and I assured you it’ll not be a waste of time. My current mission is to get hold of the sequel : Satree lek 2.
