I watched Nana today and I must say, it is quite a movie exploring the theme of sisterhood. Originated from a manga, Nana tells the story of 2 young girls with the same name but led a different lives. One has a childlike, naive character while the other is a very strong, confident punk singer. Despite their stark different personalities, they somehow managed to get along. As I always believed, human connection is a mysterious art which till today is left unanswered.
A great movie with great songs. Mostly sang by Mika Nakashima, the actress who played Osaki Nana.
My favourite would have to be Glamorous Sky.
Pardon me for not writing a long review. I need to continue the search for the sequel. Can’t seemed to find it in all the torrent sites.

I love the anime so much. The whole story about how the two NANAs connect is just great. They also bring up lots of philosophy in the story, like…what is happiness and things like that. Many people often ask themselves questions like that, and that’s how I can relate real life to the story. I’m sad that the anime didn’t continue, though, many people were left with question marks because of the ending. It ended as if there would be more to it, which there wasn’t unfortunately.
Anyway, love the anime so much, it has really influenced my life a lot, I have started to dress like osaki nana, I listen to songs by olivia lufkin and anna tsuchiya, and ….much much more. Thank you so much creators of NANA. I’m sure I’m not the only one who has been affected this way.
