Oh God, the feeling finally reappeared after a year break. It’s like running for a 8 weeks marathon with no option of slowing down or quitting.

My head has started swelling after 2 days. Too much of words punching into my brain.

I’ll be missing in action for a while. The 8 weeks marathon will eat up most of my time for sure. No worries, will try to curi tulang when my conscience is sleeping.

Time of the year again where some of the lecturers from London will be coming down to prep us for the exam. This time we are stuck in a class for 3 hours with a new face…

Dr Adam Gearey who’s teaching Jurisprudence.

Compared to all the previous lecturers, he’s more well-dressed. Ooo…I liked his shoes, very stylish like a golf shoes.

Before starting the class, he mentioned about needing some time to adjust to the warm weather as he just came right from the airport. Well, he should take off the coat then as he seemed overdressed.

I find his accent bearable although he warned us earlier. According to him, he came from the northern part of England and people there speak in a slightly different accent. Hmmm…I wonder where Prof. Dr. Stephen Guest come from. Because I remembered his accent is super thick.

My revision timetable is in a mess!

No…no…not by me but the college. I wonder if anyone could understand that piece of confusing chart.

I tried though.

Had to jot it slowly on a piece of paper. Redo it a few times before I got it right. Why does the college love to make our life miserable? Nonetheless, I’m proud at my successful attempt in decoding the days which I’ve to attend class. My life has officially comes to an end.

Can I survive week 5 & 6?

When Ms. Meera distributed  a sheet of paper to us in Company Law class today, a certain feeling of nostalgic start playing in my mind.

I vividly remembered the 1st time I encountered this poem. It was in Form 4. During an English class. I could remembered how excited I was to be able to relate to the poem. And this poem helped me a lot after SPM because as what Robert Frost said, there will be a time when our hearts diverged as the road does in the woods.

I took his poem to my heart and even named this blog after his poem.  

Once again, it’s time to take it out of my heart and ponder upon it.

Who dare eat banana in front of me?

WARNING!

Think twice before you raise your hand or nod your head.

According to Malaysia Sexual Harassment Penal Code (not sure if I get it right), the act of consuming a banana in front of opposite sex can be considered sexual harassment.

Unsure if it applies to man and/or woman. But I’m more curious when it comes to proving. Does the act have to be sexual, stimulating or etc?

To all the guys out there, take my advice, eat it in isolation. You never know when woman ’strike’.

With my partner-in-crime gone, the class seemed less exciting. No one to laugh with when the class get bored.

And today is ONLY the 1st day…

This was printed on my Commercial Law lecturer, Mr Wai Nyan’s T-Shirt. A souvenir he got from Oxford University.

Don’t we all experience it?

At the beginning of the semester, the college decided to give out free book to those who register early, that is by 7th September.

Obviously I registered early because the book alone would have cost a bomb. (The Concept of Law by H.L.A Hart) The following weeks or months, I went by the assumption that I’m getting the book for free until someone said I might not be eligible for me.

The reason is I did not pay the tuition fees at the time I registered. Stupid, huh?

I was pissed like hell because I paid in lump sum 2 days after the closing date which is on the 9th. Even more pissed when I heard those who paid the 1st installment will be getting it. That’s also considered as ‘paid tuition fees’. Unfair, right? I mean I paid in lump sum, shouldn’t they put me in top priority compared to those who paid in installment?

Stupid, stupid college!!!

Then today, in company law tutorial, Ashley came and told me that I’m entitled to the free book as she saw my name on the list. F***! This is after all the trouble of securing, photocopy and hard-bound the book. Lucky I didn’t buy the book. If not, I would have ‘hentam’ the college administration.

A while ago, I received a mesage from my lecturer, Mr Harvey on Facebook.

It was sent during the week when I was busy working. I thought of replying it later as I was damn tired. It wasn’t till a week later that I received another message from him.

hmm you know its rude not to reply msgs

Gosh! I completely forgot about it.

This is the 3rd weeks in a row where he did not called my name.

Yes, it’s strange. He knew I was there by the look on his eyes. Nonetheless, he chose not to call out my name.

I presumed my Chinese name is tough to pronounce but…earlier he did got it right.

So after class, I approached him.

“Mr. Jason, was it difficult for you to pronounce my name?”

“Err…NO! But how do you pronounce it?” (can you all see the contradiction in his words?)

“You can actually call me by my English name, Jade”

Let’s hope I’m not singled out again during Jurisprudence class.
