It has been a while since I watched a TVB series. Back in high school, I used to be their No. 1 fan. Tuning to their series everytime I came back from school.
My entire family was also a fan therefore we used to rent it from our neighbourhood video centre. I still remembered vividly the time At the Threshold of an Era I & II was out. If lucky, it take a day for the video to reach here after the screening in Hong Kong. Sometimes, it takes days. The waiting is torturing especially for my dad. Each day, after work, without failed, he’ll go to the video centre and start ‘harrassing’ them. He’ll be so ‘kan cheong’, worried that the video might ran out of stock and etc.
*chuckles*
That’s my dad.
As of recent, I began to revive my passion for TVB series.
The latest which I’m currently watching is The Drive of Life. A joint production between TVB & CCTV.
The first 3 episodes has been great thus far. Another 57 more to go and I’ve faith in TVB (they never disappoint me with their drama). I love the speech given by Damian Lau in the 1st episode. So powerful and inspiring, makes you so proud to be a Chinese. 
If you are curious and having doubts whether to watch or not, hopefully the clips below will help. Without hesitation, I do recommended this big production drama.
